About the Role
Lakeside Court, a retirement living scheme in Eastbourne, is seeking a Scheme Coordinator/Well-being Connector to deliver local services to customers, creating a vibrant community and sustainable living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily well-being checks and respond to emerging changes in circumstances.
- Identify and manage risk, including safeguarding, and take accountability for ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Engage with older people and their families to support them in identifying issues and progressing them.
- Develop relationships with partner agencies to provide well-being opportunities and support customers to access a programme of well-being and social initiatives.
- Routinely carry out health & safety, fire safety, and warden call system checks to ensure compliance and high service standards.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to delivering high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural relationship builder with ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Experience of partnership working with specialist agencies for older people and passion for co-producing innovative services.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Adult Safeguarding.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to adapt approach depending on audience.
- Comprehensive understanding of professional boundaries and high level of personal integrity.
- Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and in-house systems.
What We Offer
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
