We are seeking an exceptional Community Practitioner to join our dynamic East Cumbria Community Treatment Team. As part of a highly supportive team, you will be encouraged to grow professionally and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Our team is embarking on a staff-led transformation of service delivery, prioritizing teaching and development, and providing ongoing training in psychological interventions and individualized training opportunities in specific therapies where available.

  • In collaboration with the Service User and Carer (where appropriate), develop Recovery and Wellbeing focused Care Plans, ensuring regular reviews and adaptations as necessary.
  • As a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team, deliver high-quality individualized care that prioritizes safety, recovery, wellbeing, and independence.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 12-24 months' experience as a qualified nurse, dependent on service needs.
  • Awareness and understanding of professional accountability, NMC standards, and local/national initiatives.
  • Evidence of post-registration training in clinical psychological interventions/skills relevant to the role.
  • Training in CPA, Safeguarding, MAPPA, and Child Protection.
  • Experience working within a community team.
  • Qualified Non-medical prescriber.
  • Able to maintain professional development.
