Job Title: Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at a fantastic Special Needs School in Ealing.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEND and a passion for working with children and young people with learning difficulties. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, working with other support staff to engage pupils in sensory work, preparing classroom resources, and providing feedback to teachers and parents.

The school supports pupils with a wide range of needs, including SEMH, ASC, MLD/SLD, and Complex Needs. You must be able to have a flexible approach with regards to your support style and have an outgoing nature in order to build rapport with the pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Working with other support staff to engage pupils in sensory work.
  • Preparing classroom resources.
