About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Spencer-Richardson. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust project plans, ensuring all resources, materials, and labor are efficiently allocated to meet project objectives.
  • Support the finance team in creating project budgets and estimates, and continually review financial performance to ensure projects are completed within time and budget.
  • Ensure the workshop team is briefed on all project details, technical specifications, and design requirements, and support them in meeting deadlines and exceptional standards of quality.
  • Lead the project team, building positive working relationships, coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the tools for success.
  • Identify and mitigate risk, implementing contingency plans and addressing unforeseen issues as they arise.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining communication throughout the project, delivering regular updates, and gaining feedback.
  • Advocate for the quality of product and craftsmanship, adhering to industry regulations, and streamline processes and procedures to work more efficiently.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in the stone manufacturing industry or related fields.
  • Knowledge and understanding of delivering project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.
  • Ability to issue notices, valuations, and similar contract management reports accurately and within deadlines.
  • Natural problem-solving skills, with the ability to arrive at solutions.
  • Competence in project management software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent diplomatic communication skills across all colleagues and stakeholders.
