About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our finance team at Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. In this role, you will be responsible for managing fixed assets, processing depreciation, and conducting regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage up to 250 fixed assets created per month, utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze and present key information.
  • Process depreciation cycles through SAP, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Conduct regular Asset Under Construction reviews, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
  • Review and transact Inter Company transfers, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Clear down general ledger codes in SAP, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Prepare various monthly journals, analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Post private fuel expenses, allocating hours to projects, and monitoring movements on vehicle fleets.
  • Review leases in line with IFRS16, ensuring compliance and recommending updates as necessary.
  • Perform physical verifications and impairment reviews, maintaining accurate records and providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations from the register to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the Year-End Audit process, providing detailed documentation and analysis as required.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified AAT or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of IFRS16 a significant advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Persistent, resourceful, and self-motivated, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
