Job Summary:

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of our plant is maintained at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer's schedules to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.
  • Complete relevant documentation in accordance with Company policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Identify and address root causes of failures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Attend to breakdowns promptly and ensure all work orders and planned maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall plant performance.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or equivalent role in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in PLC fault finding and repair.
  • Apprentice-trained or qualified to a minimum HNC level in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
