Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Buckland Hospital, Dover.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Children and Young People's Therapy Team to provide assessment and intervention services for children aged 0-19 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes an evidence-based and outcome-focused approach to meeting the needs of our service users.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's occupational functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £43,041 - £57,129 per annum, depending on experience. This role is subject to a six-month probationary period.
