HVAC Technician for Correctional Institutions

Job Description:
As a skilled HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at HMP Warren Hill. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work on commercial or industrial heating and water systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues to provide a safe and secure environment for prisoners, employees, and visitors

Requirements:
- Two years' experience working as a plumber or equivalent
- Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
- Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
- Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
