Job Title: Financial Estimator

Estimated Salary:

£33,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and innovative company as a financial estimator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring clients receive accurate pricing information, enhancing their overall experience.

As a financial estimator, your primary responsibilities will include preparing requests for quotes, analysing job specifications, and estimating costs based on specifications. You will also evaluate methods for producing projects, select the most efficient and economical plan, and develop knowledge of materials used, suppliers, and competitive prices.

In addition to these tasks, you will maintain and update our estimating database, communicate effectively with sales, account management, and production staff, and resolve questions regarding quotes or orders until completion.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an estimating environment within the print industry, with a strong understanding of the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare requests for quotes
  • Analyse job specifications and estimate cost of materials and supplies based on specifications
  • Evaluate methods available for producing projects and select the plan which produces the project in the most efficient and economical way
  • Develop knowledge of materials used, the best suppliers and competitive prices
  • Maintain and update estimating database
  • Communicate directly with sales, account management and production staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an estimating environment within the print industry
