Automotive Service Technician at Lookers
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm, with a rotational Saturday schedule
Compensation: OTE up to £51,600 (base salary between £30,000 - £45,000; plus OTE up to £6,000) + £2,000 signing bonus
Lookers is on the lookout for an Automotive Service Technician to become part of our enthusiastic team. In this position, you will engage in vehicle maintenance and repairs utilizing advanced technology while collaborating with skilled professionals. This role offers a remarkable chance to learn under the mentorship of our service manager, who has successfully progressed within the organization.
- Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections with cutting-edge diagnostic tools
- Executing vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and client requests
- Performing additional repairs upon customer approval
- Carrying out warranty repairs following manufacturer protocols
- Administering road tests on client vehicles to verify optimal performance
- Accurately documenting all service activities
The perfect candidate will possess an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a similar qualification, have relevant industry experience, and hold a valid UK driving license. We seek individuals who are self-driven, enthusiastic about learning, and dedicated to upholding high-quality standards in their work. While experience with JLR is beneficial, it is not essential as training will be provided.
