We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lecturer to join our dedicated team at Macclesfield College.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessment to learners across various study programmes, adult provision, and apprentices within the Motor Vehicle Technology department.
- Contribute to the marketing, planning, delivery, assessment, and internal verification of programmes within Automotive.
- Support learners in achieving their academic goals and career progression by delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring high student attendance, satisfaction, and achievement.
- Enhance existing skills through the College's continuous professional development programme.
- Teach Level 1 and Level 2 IMI Motor Vehicle courses, with a view to teaching Level 3 electric vehicles in the next academic year.
- Plan teaching, learning, and assessment for college programmes, including Apprenticeship provision.
- Deliver teaching and learning to a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
- Assess learners' work accurately and formatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
- Comply with all college quality assurance procedures to ensure the achievement of internal and external audits.
- Carry out relevant IQA duties to comply with the awarding body.
- Use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure learners experience positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.
