Job Title: Class 2 Wet Waste Tanker Driver
Location: Barnstaple
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Wet Waste Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering liquid sludge within the South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of liquid sludge
- Planning routes on a day-to-day basis
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations
- Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing a high level of customer service
- Attending regular training sessions
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous, but full training will be given
- Excellent organisation skills and use to working to deadlines
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Confident, polite, and a team player
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be hardworking and self-motivated
Benefits:
- Salary for Class 2 Driver between £35,791pa - £41,012pa, AND MORE depending on hours worked
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday, start times between 15:00hrs -17:00hrs, including 1 in 3 Saturdays. Standby call out payment. Enhanced overtime for working weekends
