We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Certification and Inspection: Verify that products meet defined standards and specifications through meticulous examination and testing.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to detect defects, verify dimensions and tolerances, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, certifications, and quality control activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and implement process improvements.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in inspection techniques and tools to continuously improve inspection processes and contribute to a culture of process improvement.
- Education and Experience: Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 is essential. Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate is preferable. Several years' experience as a skilled person - IPC 610 certified preferred.
- Skills and Qualities: Proven planning and organizing skills, flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a culture of process improvement.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance. To achieve this, you must hold British or dual nationality.
