KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct the Cases portfolio, ensuring exceptional performance and sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with the Cases commissioning team to enhance and innovate the product pipeline and strategic roadmap.
  • Enhance CABI's visibility, secure partnerships, and increase revenue and content offerings.
  • Broaden our partnership network, working closely with Publishing and Sales teams.
  • Formulate a progressive strategy for product development and expansion.
  • Investigate and pinpoint new product concepts and market opportunities.
  • Supervise the Cases roadmap and engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Address user requirements to support educational and instructional needs.
  • Develop viable business models and investigate open access possibilities.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, library boards, and industry organizations.
  • Oversee budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Inspire and lead your team, fostering high performance.
  • Spearhead change initiatives and enhance team operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years in academic publishing, commissioning, or editorial roles.
  • Proficient in product development or management.
  • Strong skills in research and content strategy.
  • Collaborative with excellent networking capabilities.
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer.
  • Proven leadership experience with team management.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Degree in a bioscience field or equivalent experience in life sciences.
