About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced healthcare teaching specialist to join our client's academy in Peterborough.

This is a long-term temporary position requiring a flexible and adaptable individual who can provide high-quality education to students.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching A-level health and social care, a strong understanding of the subject matter, and excellent teaching skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons on health and social care topics.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in health and social care to inform teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
  • Relevant professional experience in the health and social care sector.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and will have undergone or be willing to undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
