Hitachi Rail is a global leader in the development of digital solutions for the railway industry. Our team in Derby is currently searching for Lead Maintenance Technicians to join our growing UK Services business.
This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team that is revolutionizing rail in Derby.
We are looking for skilled individuals who can undertake corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing, complex fault finding, and repair of Hitachi rolling stock assets.
- Prepare for and undertake planned and unplanned maintenance activities
- Confirm that traction and rolling stock assets comply with operational specifications using engineering processes and techniques
- Read and extract information from traction and rolling stock drawings and specifications
About you
Qualifications
- M & E HNC or served apprenticeship with mechanical, electrical disciplines or Engineering based NVQ level 3
- Sound knowledge of, and compliance to, rules and regulations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to represent Hitachi in a professional manner at all times
What we offer
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
