Europlan Group Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Europlan Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation aspects of our subsea cable factory project. This includes coordinating E&I design works and implementation, inspecting and evaluating the quality of electrical and instrumentation installations, and providing on-the-spot technical support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective E&I design and implementation.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of E&I designs, implementations, and inspections.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on electrical and instrumentation matters.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial or construction environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or specialized instrumentation and calibration certifications.
  • Proficiency in E&I design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming tools).

Benefits:This is an onsite full-time contract role reporting to the Electrical Package Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Estimated salary: £72,000 - £87,000 per annum.
