Mobile Plant Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Technician to join our team at Adept Resourcing Engineering. As a key member of our commercial and engineering division, you will be responsible for servicing and resolving problems on heavy plant equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to and work at customer sites to service and resolve problems on heavy plant equipment
- Liaise with the service team and technical support to solve problems and order parts
- Complete and submit reports and hours worked
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of heavy plant equipment, including wheeled loaders, excavators, track loaders, shredders, screens, and waste handlers
- Knowledge of brands such as Case Construction Equipment, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack is advantageous
- Competent with reading and understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Understanding of in-engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPF
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Good IT skills
- Good literacy and communication skills
- Driving license
- Apprentice NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or similar
- Quarry passport
- Passport to safety
- Air conditioning
- Basic working hours of 40 hours per week
- Opportunities for overtime as and when required
