About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Finance Business Partner to join our team at Reed in Partnership Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Programme Director and Senior Operations team in achieving business objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide financial representation and support to the Programme Director and Senior Operations team, performing contract performance reviews and utilising financial and KPI reports to drive performance.

You will be responsible for facilitating focused finance support, including the preparation of detailed financial and performance models, regular information sharing, and guidance on financial performance and revenue generation.

As a Business Partner, you will contribute to the provision and continuous improvement of accurate, timely, and well-presented financial management information to the Board of Directors and Operations Management.

Key Accountabilities
  • Monitor and query periodic management accounts outputs to drive performance
  • Enhance financial performance information available to Operations
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and management teams
  • Obtain information required to inform a rolling forecast financial model
  • Build and develop Excel financial models to support key contracts
  • Perform periodic P&L and contract performance reviews with operational leads
  • Drive financial focus and improved operational efficiency
  • Creation of financial and performance reporting tools for new contract implementation
  • Provide timely financial or forecasting information required externally by our Customers
  • Regular communication with operational leads to understand forecasting predictions and drive improved operational performance

Requirements
  • Part or Qualified accountant with management accounting experience in a private sector environment
  • Confident communicator with experience in building relationships and trust with Operational teams
  • Ability to set up and maintain detailed forecast models using Microsoft Excel or other tools
  • Proven ability to convey financial information to non-financial managers in a coherent and confident manner
  • Proven analytical and reporting skills
  • Power BI knowledge and ability to set up reports using Power BI desktop
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and agile attitude
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • A team player with good interpersonal, relationship building, networking, and communication skills
