About the Role

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with registered nurses to deliver evidence-based practice. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of areas, including clinical tasks, patient assessment, and care planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop understanding of the nursing process and assist registered nurses in patient care
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, providing person-centred care and promoting health and independence
  • Perform and record clinical observations, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Undertake clinical tasks, such as cannulation and venepuncture
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and safety at all times
  • Recognise and report issues related to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults
Requirements
  • Level 2 Functional/Key Skills in English and Maths or GCSE English Language & Maths at Grade A-C /4-9
  • Relevant recent experience working within healthcare
  • Ability to study at Diploma level and commit to completing a Foundation Degree Apprenticeship
