Job Title: Educational Leader for Key Stage 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated qualified Primary Teacher to lead the teaching and learning of children in an exciting Part Time Year 5/6 role.

This is a wonderful and welcoming one-form entry school in Oxfordshire, easily accessible by public transport. The school is happy to consider applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Role:
  • As a Year 5/6 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
Requirements:
  • QTS, PGCE and strong academic record.
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner.
  • Able to communicate your passion to children and parents.
