Metallurgist Role

Futures Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Metallurgist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for metallurgical work on site, ensuring that standards are met and customer service levels are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct metallurgical work on site
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Liaise with customers to ensure customer service levels are met
  • Generate material specifications and manage subcontract testing
  • Participate in process improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Recognised materials science or metallurgy qualification
  • At least five years post-qualification experience in Heat Treatment
  • Minimum HNC/HND qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science
