Exciting Opportunity for Graduate Engineers

We are seeking a talented Graduate Engineer to join our Capital Projects delivery team as an Engineering Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the gas industry, working on exciting projects and collaborating with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Review construction designs and produce contracts for design and construction projects
  • Assess commercial applications and variations, and provide progress updates and programme updates
  • Produce and present business cases to support project decisions
  • Build an SCO portfolio and work towards becoming a Competent Person capable of issuing Permits to Work
Requirements:
  • Engineering or construction degree (HND/HNC accepted) or technical work experience in the engineering or construction industry
  • Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Cathodic Protection Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering
  • Knowledge of HS&E and how it should be managed within a construction environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills
What We Offer:
  • Starting salary of £28,000 per annum with yearly increments
  • 2-year fixed term contract with the option for a permanent role after successful completion of the development scheme
  • 40 hours per week
  • Up to 5% bonus (dependent upon achievement of set targets)
  • 25 days annual leave (plus recognised bank holidays and 2 half days over the Christmas period)
  • SSP for first 7 calendar days then occupational sick pay
