We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Optimisation Specialist to join our team at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech. This permanent position will see you working closely with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to develop and implement training delivery plans.

Job Role
  • This role involves utilising internal/external expertise to support key stakeholder decisions and enhance business investment decisions.
  • The Manufacturing Optimisation Specialist will be involved in new product design and specification, recommending modifications and determining feasibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out production tasks in line with approved certification.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency's and productivity.
  • To be close to industry to be aware of developments and trade shows and present opportunities to the business in order to be one-step ahead.
  • Support production in resolution of machine breakdowns.

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of and skills in a specialised technical area.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices.
  • Numeracy and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills on multiple systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
  • Multi skilled experienced machinist with 5 or more years' experience within a machine shop environment.
  • Knowledgeable and adaptable in the use of manual and CNC operated machinery.

Working Hours:
