About the Role:

We are currently working with a number of leading luxury designers across the industry, who require Gerber and Lectra Pattern Cutters to join them on an ongoing freelance basis. Our clients work on womenswear RTW, VIP, and fashion week collections and are looking for highly skilled Gerber or Lectra Pattern Cutters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating first patterns using the Gerber/Lectra system while working alongside designers and seamstresses to ensure garments are produced to the client's expected standards.
  • Producing first patterns, as well as making any amendments to existing patterns.
  • Ability to work from spec sheet comments and follow through each action point to finalized patterns for grading and bulk production.
  • Checking and fixing graded patterns before sending them out to our manufacturers.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Gerber Pattern Cutter who has a strong understanding of fit and garment construction from a development and factory capability perspective. You should be accustomed to working to tight deadlines and be able to multitask across changing priorities. Flexibility is required at peak times to manage workload. You should be a team player with great interpersonal skills, a clear and concise communicator, and confident in digitizing, marker making, and laying plans.

Requirements:

  • Prior pattern cutting experience working with Gerber.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
