Job Description

This role will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop novel manufacturing processes for augmented reality waveguides.

  • Develop new tools and processes to enable next-generation nanophotonics and related systems for our world-leading augmented reality displays.
  • Making important contributions to new and existing automation and measurement processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams across various disciplines and global locations, involving occasional travel within the UK and abroad.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to identify and source new components and systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the transfer and dissemination of process knowledge within the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable record of hands-on technical development with good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and team structures.
  • Ability to work independently or closely with colleagues as required.
  • Demonstrable programming skills (Python or MATLAB an advantage), especially for system integration.
  • Experience of CAD (SolidWorks, NX).
  • Shows curiosity and a strong problem-solving ability.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range £74,000 - £93,000 per annum, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for equity in the form of RSUs. Our compensation philosophy is designed to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
