About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Outwood Academy Brumby. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the learning and welfare of our students, providing practical and learning support to our students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure they access the curriculum and make progress.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Support the class teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Assist with the supervision of students during lessons and breaks.
