About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join our team at Hambrook School in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to pupils with Autism and EHCP, ensuring their academic and personal growth.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement tailored educational plans, promoting the development of essential life skills and academic achievements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with Autism and EHCP
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans to meet the unique needs of each pupil
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support for pupils
Requirements
  • QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills
  • Nationally recognized degree
  • Experience working with pupils with Autism and EHCP (desirable)
  • Excellent teaching skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
