At Turning Point, we're committed to making a difference in the lives of young people and adults in our community. As a Young Persons Recovery Coordinator, you'll work with various agencies to develop and implement personalized support packages that cater to the unique needs of each individual. This role requires a high level of flexibility, as you'll be working in diverse settings and managing a large caseload without compromising on quality.
Role Responsibilities
You'll support a caseload of young people and adults, conducting assessments, creating recovery plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions in groups and one-on-one settings.
You'll engage in multi-agency working with partner agencies, including Youth Offending Teams, Schools, Police, Children's Homes, and Social Services.
You'll spend time out and about, working within an outreach approach, providing presentations to groups and seeing young people wherever the need is identified.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with previous experience working with young people with substance use issues or in a similar environment. You'll need to be highly motivated, driven to make a real difference, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
