Job Title: Highways Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team at VGC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and correctly.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of earthmoving crews, including equipment operators, laborers, and other workers.
* Conduct regular team meetings and briefings to communicate project updates and safety protocols.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Implement and maintain safety protocols to minimize risk and prevent accidents.
* Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of resource usage and inventory levels.

Requirements:

* 2 years + experience in highways construction.
* Gold NVQ LVL 3 Supervisor Card, SMSTS, Safety Critical Medical.
* Must have own transport.
* Ideally highways experience.
