About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing assessment, planning, and care to a group of service users within the Croydon Assessment and Liaison team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate and contribute to a program of therapeutic group work that promotes wellbeing and recovery.
  • Prescribe basic equipment or refer on for more specialist equipment/major adaptations.
  • Provide occupational therapy leadership for students, designated junior staff, and volunteers through supervision and appraisal.
  • Work with the OT leadership team and wider MDT to contribute to and lead on defined projects aimed at improving the experience of inpatient service users and carers that we serve.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
