Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Principal Industrial Decarbonisation and Regulation Policy Consultant. We are looking for someone with strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of industrial decarbonisation policies.

About the Role

You will be working within a team that develops and implements policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industry. This involves collaborating with governments, businesses, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective policies.

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industry.
  • You will be working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • You will be responsible for managing and delivering projects, including developing project plans, coordinating with team members, and ensuring timely delivery.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong project management skills with a track record in leading complex projects.
  • Excellent written and spoken English essential; fluency in other European languages an advantage.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including concise and precise report writing.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good team worker and experienced delegator.
  • Strong level of commercial awareness and appreciation for project financial management principles.
  • Educated to at least Bachelor's degree level specializing in scientific, engineering, environmental, legal, or economic fields.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £85,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 25 days' annual leave, plus 8 flexible bank holidays, a competitive company pension scheme, life assurance, and professional subscriptions reimbursement.
