About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Olive Recruit. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting Children and Young People with mental health and well-being challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct personalized assessments to identify the needs of young individuals and develop tailored interventions to promote their recovery journey.
  • Provide 1:1 support and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive support packages.
  • Liaise with statutory and non-statutory organizations to ensure seamless support and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to funding applications and update reports.
  • Stay informed on health and social care developments and prioritize personal development.
Requirements
  • A professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC and BAOT.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team supporting young people with mental health challenges and complex needs.
  • Strong skills in needs-led assessments, goal planning, reviewing, and delivering client-centred support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory, Recovery principles, and relevant practice models.
  • Excellent assessment abilities, both in Occupational Therapy and general mental health support, with a commitment to culturally sensitive approaches.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Social Care, Health Services, and other agencies, alongside strong organizational and communication skills.
