We are seeking a collaborative and inspiring leader to head our Department of Accounting and Finance. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of academics and managing relationships with industry partners, including financial services, banking, and commercial organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of Accounting and Finance programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Manage relationships with industry partners and professional bodies, such as ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW.
  • Recruit and line manage senior lecturers and other academic staff.
  • Represent the University and its values, promoting Arden University and its programmes at external and internal events.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of managing relationships with industry partners and professional bodies.
  • Experience of leading a portfolio of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Masters' level qualification relevant to the School.
  • Relevant industry experience within the business world, including business development.
