About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Lawyer to join our team at Marsden on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private credit and debt, leveraged finance, and a proven track record of advising on complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on private debt, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes, including direct investments, fund investments, co-investments, divestitures, financing, and take-private transactions.
  • Providing advice on other legal matters, including regulatory, risk, governance issues, GDPR, AML, and commercial contracts.
  • Ensuring that business activities and proposed investments are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 months contract
  • FTC or day rate
  • Hybrid working arrangement
