Role Overview

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in KS3/KS4. This temporary role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the educational development of students with special educational needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth. Your role will involve working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a seamless learning experience.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting students with SEN and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student support.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that all necessary materials and resources are available.
  • Monitor student progress, tracking achievements and areas for improvement.
