About Falkirk Council

Falkirk Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior leader to spearhead strategic enhancements across primary schools in Falkirk. This exciting opportunity allows for collaboration with a dynamic Senior Leadership Team within a successful, forward-thinking local authority.

As the lead strategic figure, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of priority work streams and activities related to primary schools, as well as authority-wide responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of quality improvement in an educational setting, including sound knowledge of current national priorities and drivers that enhance outcomes for children, young people, and families.

Excellent communication skills are essential, allowing you to respond to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing. You will also demonstrate a well-developed ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of the wider quality improvement team.

The salary for this position is £62,580 - £70,689 per annum, dependent on experience. If selected, you will be required to maintain your PVG scheme membership.
