Job Title: Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our team in the North Region. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the existing Industrial Refrigeration service business in the region and continuing the expansion of all activities in the North Region with both external and internal JLL / Integral customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively deliver engineering tasks received, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, warehouses, and various equipment, including recip, scroll, screw compressor packs, and installations such as Ammonia, Co2, and HFC/HFO.
  • Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover in normal working hours, as well as supporting out-of-hours works by being part of a standby rota.
  • Observe internal and client support functions to meet the requirements and objectives of our customers and our business.
  • Ensure that engineering tasks received are supported with the appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance at all times.
  • Responsible for the quality of each individual engineering task received in support of contract responsibilities, ensuring all practices are followed at all times.
  • Participate in conforming to all industry best practice and legislative guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and the expectations of Industrial Refrigeration customers.
  • Demonstrate the appropriate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required, including 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, and Ammonia.
  • Successfully completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
  • A good base knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
  • Experience of large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding skills for various installations, as well as experience on refrigeration compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
