Head of Bids Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head of Bids to join our client, a leading Soft facilities company delivering high-quality solutions for cleaning, grounds maintenance, and support services. As Head of Bids, you will be responsible for leading a team of Bid Managers and Bid Administrators, managing multiple bids simultaneously, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the business approval process and ensure the timely delivery of proposals.
  • Develop and maintain the bid management plan and schedule, ensuring effective communication with the bid team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and train bid members in the bid process methods to ensure understanding and adherence to the process.
  • Manage resubmission or clarification activities through to contract award.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organisation and management skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the housing/public sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, bid management software, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
