About the Role:
Durham Constabulary is seeking an experienced Police Vehicle Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing police vehicles, including installing specialized electrical systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and at least 5 years of experience in a related field. A City & Guilds Level III or equivalent qualification is also required.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of £32,247-£35,526 per year. You can expect to work Monday to Friday in an office environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintenance and repair of police vehicles.
  • Installation and testing of electrical equipment, including CCTV systems and force communication systems.
  • Vehicle commissioning and decommissioning.
