Job Title: Podiatrist - Advanced Biomechanics and Nail Surgery

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated podiatrist to join our team, providing high-quality podiatric care to patients with a wide range of clinical needs. As a podiatrist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing and planning individual patient care, working autonomously and as part of the wider team.

Main Duties:
  • Apply effective assessment and diagnostic criteria to formulate agreed treatment plans, implementation and evaluation of podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
  • Undertake surgical intervention using local anaesthesia for complex nail pathologies.
  • Undertake health promotion activities to groups / individuals / clients and other professionals as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with all clients and relatives regarding the appointment / procedural systems and relevant healthcare advice.

Job Responsibilities:

Clinical duties:

  • Apply effective assessment and diagnostic criteria to formulate agreed treatment plans, implementation and evaluation of podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
  • Undertake surgical intervention using local anaesthesia for complex nail pathologies.
  • Undertake health promotion activities to groups / individuals / clients and other professionals as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with all clients and relatives regarding the appointment / procedural systems and relevant healthcare advice.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of current Podiatry practices and clinical issues.
  • Broad spectrum of clinical experience.
  • Working independently and as a team member.
  • Assessed and formulated treatment plans for new patients.
  • Evidence/portfolio of post-graduate CPD.
  • Domiciliary care provision.
  • Experienced in the provision of high-risk treatments & advanced biomechanical assessments.
  • 2 years relevant post graduate experience.
