About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Bristol's Adult Services. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of citizens and carers, planning, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing the needs of citizens and carers, and developing support plans to meet their unique circumstances and priorities.
  • Championing the principles of choice and control, supporting individuals to make their own decisions and take control of their lives.
  • Working collaboratively with individuals, families, and communities to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Providing Social Care that is person-centred, responsive, and empowering.
Requirements
  • Registered with Social Work England, with a Social Work or relevant SWE qualification.
  • Proven experience of working in a social care setting, with a strong understanding of adult social care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals, families, and communities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
