Fruit Tree Cultivation Specialist

As a Fruit Tree Cultivation Specialist with Organic Growers Alliance, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of growing fruit trees. This role involves fruit tree propagation, tree planting, general field and crop maintenance, and order picking.
About the Role- Fruit tree propagation: Assist in the cultivation of new fruit trees through grafting, budding, and other methods.
- Tree planting: Plant and establish new fruit trees in our nursery and orchards.
- General field and crop maintenance: Perform tasks such as weed control, caning, pruning, and other necessary maintenance to ensure healthy crops.
- Order picking: Select and package fruit trees for dispatch to customers.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in horticulture and tree production, with experience in working outdoors in various weather conditions. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Working with UsWe are a small, passionate team dedicated to sustainable fruit tree production. Our goal is to provide high-quality fruit trees to customers across the UK while promoting environmentally friendly practices.
You will work closely with our experienced team members, learning and contributing to our operations. We offer a supportive environment that encourages growth and development.
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 per annum (dependent on experience), paid hourly at £12-15 per hour.
