About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and procedures to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent food presentation, taste, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the kitchen team.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
