Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the client's assets remain at high levels of serviceability. You will be responsible for performing all planned and unplanned hydraulic and mechanical work, including maintenance, repairs, and load testing of hydraulic equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs of all hydraulic equipment on the account.
  • Load test and certify jacks, ensuring safe operation, and conduct initial inspections of new jacks on the contract.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely, and supervise any contractors on site.
  • React to service requests from the client, driving to and locating equipment for PPM or repair.
  • Follow work requests from start to finish, tracking multiple jobs simultaneously and keeping the line manager and client informed.
  • Effectively communicate work order progress to the customer and team members, and inform the line manager of any issues that arise.
  • Work as part of a wider team of 17 employees on the contract, providing the highest levels of customer service.
  • Carefully complete all work order administration, ensuring IT work orders are complete and load tests are uploaded to the system.

  • Carry out any reasonable work request from management to contribute to the effective running of the contract.
  • Control and manage critical spares for the client's equipment.
Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Articulate, numerate, and IT literate.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision, managing and prioritizing your own work.
  • Good all-round knowledge of asset maintenance and hydraulic equipment, with a track record of working on these assets (resealing cylinders and pressure testing equipment).
  • The ability to establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality and safety.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to comply with all health & safety laws and site-specific rules.
  • Experience working on pressurized gas systems would be advantageous.
  • Good decision-making and communications skills.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
