Job Title: Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer

Job Summary:
HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all mechanical, domestic, and hydraulic equipment onboard vessels and in the repair workshop.
• Ensure all shipboard mechanical systems are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.
• Maintain all tools and equipment to a high standard.
• Keep company-approved Planned Maintenance/Purchasing systems up to date.
• Complete job reports and allocate materials for each job.
• Ensure compliance with all appropriate PTWs, isolations, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Provide out-of-hours service when required.
• Promote and adhere to the company's QHSE Policies.
• Stop work if necessary to ensure safety.
• Assist other divisions when required.

Requirements:
• Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer with relevant onshore/offshore support experience.
• Hands on background in heavy engineering.
• Driving Licence.
