Lead Mathematician

Dunbar Education is committed to providing excellent education to its students. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced head of mathematics to lead our Mathematics Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Mathematics Department, developing and implementing curricula, managing a team of mathematics teachers, and monitoring departmental performance.

• Department Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the Mathematics Department.
• Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement curricula that support student achievement.
• Team Management: Manage a team of mathematics teachers, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
• Teaching: Teach engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages.

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience: A proven track record of success in teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting is highly desirable.

Estimated salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
