Teaching Opportunity for SEMH Secondary School
U-Educate is working with a SEMH Secondary School in Southampton to find a dedicated and passionate teacher to join their team.
As a class teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment;
- Planning engaging lessons that cater to the needs of SEMH pupils;
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records;
- Liaising with colleagues and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to education;
- Managing a team of support staff to provide a comprehensive support system for students.
Person Specification:
- Deep understanding of special educational needs and SEMH;
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents;
- Flexible and positive attitude to work;
- Capacity to deliver the curriculum in an engaging and creative manner;
- QTS desirable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching SEMH pupils;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
