Job Description

This role involves producing machined parts using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe machine. You'll be responsible for interpreting work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials lists, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. Ensuring accuracy of settings will be your ongoing task.

With 3-5 years of experience and working under broad supervision, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and take ownership of your work. Producing high-quality parts efficiently and effectively is crucial to meeting customer demands and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret work orders and technical documentation to plan and execute machining operations
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and quality control metrics
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflows and improve efficiency
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in machining operations or a related field
  • Excellent understanding of CNC machining principles and practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
