We are looking for a highly motivated Pharmaceutical Research Assistant to join our R&D team for a 12-month placement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside leading scientists on life-changing projects and develop your skills in drug development.

As a member of our multi-functional team, you will interact with colleagues to support the development of drug dosage forms, perform routine and non-routine analyses, participate in investigative work and trouble-shooting, and deliver testing aspects of development projects to meet agreed timelines.

An essential component of this role is the undertaking of a research project with a written report and presentation to Senior Management. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong academic background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy or a related discipline, and be working toward a minimum of a 2:1 degree in your penultimate year of study.

A salary of €27,000 - €29,000 per annum is offered, reflecting the company's commitment to investing in the development of its employees.
